What is Kivo?

Kivo is a real-time fashion inventory tool that shows you what's in stock at nearby stores. We aggregate publicly available product data from fashion retailers and display it on a map based on your location.

What data we collect

We collect as little data as possible:

• Location data — When you grant permission, your browser shares your approximate location so we can show nearby stores. This is processed in your browser and on our server to filter results. We do not store your location.
• IP address — Your IP address is temporarily processed for rate limiting (to prevent abuse). It is not logged or stored.
• Postcode — If you enter a postcode instead of using geolocation, it is used to look up coordinates via the Postcodes.io API. We do not store it.

What we do not collect

• We do not use cookies
• We do not create user accounts or profiles
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties
• We do not use advertising

Third-party services

Kivo uses the following third-party services:

• Leaflet / CartoDB — For rendering the map. Subject to their own privacy policies.
• Google Fonts — For loading the Inter and Sora typefaces. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Postcodes.io — For converting postcodes to coordinates. An open-source, freely available API.
• Umami — For privacy-friendly, anonymous website analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, does not track users across sites, and does not store IP addresses. All data is aggregated and anonymous. See Umami's Privacy Policy.

Data storage

Shopping trip data (items you save to your trip planner) is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we don't store personal data, there is typically nothing to request. If you have concerns, please contact us.
